"My experience with cloth diapers has been fantastic. Like most Mom's considering going with cloth, at first I was apprehensive about the extra work they brought. I decided for cost savings, health benefits and environmental reasons that I would give it a try. My initial investment of prefolds and covers was so worth it! I wash every 2-3 days on cold rinse, then a long-hot cycle and tumble dry and it is working great! (No folding required on this laundry.) The extra couple loads of laundry is cake compared to heading to the department store every 1-2 weeks. Plus I save not only on diapers, but all the extra things I tended to pick up while there that I may not need. At times when we use a couple of disposables while out, we often have blowouts, but never with our cloth dipes, they hold breastfed stools wonderfully. Even my husband, who was resistant initially, agrees that they far surpass Huggies. Also, before I switched to cloth, I was using rash cream at every diaper change, now its just an occasional thin layer of 'Booty Balm' (which also works great on babies dry spots elsewhere). I have so many good things to say about the diapers and Amber's expert guidance at Punkerdoops. Give cloth a try - your baby, wallet and the environment will be happy. I'm getting ready to purchase the next size for my boy."

"Working with Amber and Punkerdoops Diapers has made my transition to cloth a wonderful experience! I had wanted to switch for a few years but was really nervous, meeting with Amber was exactly what I needed to feel confident on this new path! It was been a great experience and Punkerdoops is my only choice for cloth diapers and accessories!" ~JoKasta, Eau Claire, WI, mom to Naomi, 6 months, modeling her Thirsties Duo Diaper

"I am a recent convert to cloth diapering, and Amber is the reason! As a new mom, I was reluctant to use cloth diapers because I felt overwhelmed by my perception that they were so much more work than disposable. Not true! Amber has been very helpful and encouraging and willing to answer questions as I have made the switch ... and I don't feel like I'm doing much more work than when I was using Huggies. In fact, we are having fewer leaks with cloth than with disposable! A basic prefold with a doubler and cover seems to work best for us, and even my husband has remarked how easy they are to use. In addition, we love the friendly environmental impact of this decision, not to mention the cost savings over disposable. I would highly recommend Amber and Punkerdoops Diapers! ~Jen H., Eau Claire, WI, mom to Evan, 10 months

"When I had my daughter I never even entertained the idea of using cloth diapers, then we saw information about Amber's Cloth Diapering 101 Session and decided to attend out of curiosity. I'm so glad we did, modern cloth diapering is nothing like I thought it would be, it is so easy! Amber got us set up with all we needed to start cloth diapering Layla when she was 2 months old, and we love it! I feel so much better knowing we are saving money, the environment, and keeping Layla's bottom happy. :) To make things even better....Amber's customer service is fantastic! She is always willing to go above and beyond to answer any questions and follow up on orders. We have been cloth diapering for 3 happy months now!" ~Ashley S., Boyceville, WI, mom to Layla, 5 months

"As a busy mother of 6 I was attracted to the cost-effectiveness of cloth diapering, but was a little worried about the extra time it might take out of our day. I am very happy to say we have found cloth diapering just as convenient as disposables. We used a mix of prefolds and fitted diapers. My very favorite is the Thirsties fitted, but I'm finding the prefolds to be a great fit when we use a Snappie. No matter what kind of diaper we are using, I LOVE my Thirsties covers! We have been using them for 8 weeks and have not had one leak that made it out to an outfit! Thirsties allow you to get a great fit around the legs. Amber has been such a fabulous person to deal with when I have questions. I have been very pleased with Punkerdoops Diapers!" ~Christine H., Eau Claire, WI, mom to Joel, 9 weeks (and five big siblings!)

"I have loved using the cloth diapers. I decided as soon as I got pregnant that I was going to use them, but I was thinking they were still going to be like the cloth diapers we used on my sister 20 years ago. They are so much easier to use now and much more cost effective than disposable. I also don't have the guilt of putting that much trash in the landfills. I try to talk all the new moms I see into using the cloth diapers and I often give them your website for information because it explains everything."
~Sarah M., Texas, Mommy to Nate, 3 months

"I am a mother of 4 and had not tried cloth diapers until my 4th child, Hudson. I was a bit apprehensive about the amount of work that it would entail, but Amber was happy to spend time talking with me and answering any questions I had about cloth diapering. Hudson is now 2 months old, and the last 2 months of diapering have gone quite smoothly (even with 3 other little boys 5 and under!) I highly recommend Amber and Punkerdoops for your cloth diapering needs!" Shelby B., mommy to Hudson - 3 wks in picture, Eau Claire, WI

"Punkerdoops Diapers has been a wonderful resource for me. I am a mother of three, and I'm using cloth diapers on my third child. I used disposable on my first two. I was fearful of using cloth diapers because I thought it would be a ton of extra work, but it's so easy! I was shocked that it really is not that much more work than using disposables! Now, I am addicted to the idea, and wish everyone would try it. We use a prefold, an insert, and a Thirsties cover, and this system works wonderfully. Punkerdoops Diapers has been there to answer my every question with friendly service and complete information. Anyone who is even slightly thinking about doing cloth diapers should meet with Amber. She'll set up a system for you that works better than disposables." ~Jennifer S., Eau Claire, Wisconsin
"As a mom new to cloth diapering, there were many things to learn. I
met with Amber for more than an hour and I felt very excited and
comfortable about how to start cloth diapering. She was so
knowledgeable and thorough. Punkerdoops.com is a website packed with
answers and production information. I would recommend Amber and cloth
diapering to all my mom friends. Now my 18 month old son love to wear
the diapers and is really showing that he is learning what "potty" is
all about. Thanks Amber!" ~Katy S. Eau Claire
"The best thing about the diapers is that my 2 1/2 year old son is excited to wear them! He enjoys the bright colors. Switching to cloth has been much easier than expected. It isn't nearly as messy as I thought it would be. The clean-up is very easy - just plop the poop in the toilet and toss your collected diapers in the washing machine. I feel wonderful after a diaper change knowing that I am no longer contributing to our landfills! Amber is a fantastic resource - she answered all of my questions in a timely manner. She helped me decide what would work best for my boys, made sure I felt comfortable with my purchases, and instructed me on how to prep and use the diapers. I highly recommend Punkerdoops Diapers!" ~Desiree T., Golden Valley, MN
"The cloth 101 session was absolutely wonderful. I went from a mom full of doubt about my abilities to use cloth diapers to a calm, confident cloth diapering super-mom in less than a month because of Amber's wisdom and the wonderful selection at the Punkerdoops shop. She's always there to answer questions, even though the session was so thorough that I only had a few later on! Since I'm prone to gagging when coming in contact with any bodily secretions, baby's or not, I can't do without the natural, biodegradable disposable liners!"

"If it wasn’t for Amber Richards and Punkerdoops Diapers, I never would have experienced the fun and joy of cloth diapers. She turned me from a staunch doubter to a firm believer of the great benefits of cloth diapering. The products she sells as well as the wealth of information she provides, has made cloth diapering just as convenient as traditional diapering. My favorite item she offers is the Fuzzi Bunz pocket diaper. These are great when we are out and about and when you add a biodegradable disposable liner you don’t have to worry about touching any 'yuckies'." ~Tia M., mommy to Jessie Marie, 16 months, Lake Hallie, WI/San Diego, CA

"One thing that makes cloth diapering so much easier is using washable wipes. Of course, that means figuring out what wipes solution works for you. I have to say that the Punkin Butt Organic Wipes Solution Concentrate works beautifully - and there is no dissolving involved which makes it so easy. I keep my solution in a squirt bottle and when I run low, it's a snap to refill since I keep the concentrate in the kitchen. In fact, I typically make up 2 or 3 squirt bottles worth at a time to keep my life easier in the long run.
When I placed my order with Punkerdoops Diapers, Amber corresponded with me immediately concerning a question, and then I received my order promtly, neatly and carefully packaged. I could not have been more pleased; I have recommend this diaper shop to my cloth-diapering friends." ~Crysal S., Buford, GA
"Amber, I wanted to tell you thank you. I feel so good when I put a cloth diaper on Aiden instead of a disposable one. Thanks for starting Punkerdoops and taking the confusion out of cloth diapers. I feel very blessed to have met you. I don’t know what else to say about it, except that I love using cloth diapers and I wish I had had them with my other children." ~Stacey B, Eau Claire, WI, mom to Aiden, 13 months

"Thank you Punkerdoops diapers for your variety of products that are environmentally and baby safe. We have been using cloth diapers for 15 months now on my 18 month old. She calls them pretties due to all the fun colors and prints. Our favorite diapers are the BumGenius line as well as the LuSa Booty Balm. With our second child on the way we will be purchasing more products from Amber at Punkerdoops due to her great selection and knowledge about all the products that she carries. Thank you Amber for making cloth diapering so easy and resonably priced! Your customer service is outstanding." ~Alex & Kelli H., Eau Claire, WI

"When we found out we were expecting for the 2nd time, my son Thomas was 13 month old. I've always wanted to put him on cloth diapers but my husband was not quite certain yet (he's "green" but we are doing a lot of traveling, not always easy to wash the diapers, not sure we wanted the extra work...) In January, we've decided together it was time for the change and we would make it work anyway. I purchased enough diapers (BumGenius 3.0 One size) and accessories for Thomas and the new baby to come. I am so happy we decided to go this route: Amber has been such a great help, answering all my questions and erased all the concerns I might have had very quickly. The shipment arrived a couple days later and we were exited to have Thomas tried his new diapers. Everything went fine, Thomas is very happy and his bottom looks much better. The diapers looks so much more comfortable than any disposal ones, I just feel better for him too! The only downside is that the cloth diapers are a little bigger than the disposable ones (especially the night time ones, with 2 inserts) so we had to go to the next size up in clothes earlier than we expected, but this is very minor (it was actually fun to buy new pajamas for him). Both my husband and I love the BumGenius; we like not to have to run to the store to buy diapers, and we didn't think it was that difficult to get use to it. It took us only a few days to figure out our routine (here again Amber's advice was helpful). Washing up is easy, the diapers don't smell and you really can't tell the difference if you look at 2 babies/toddlers in diapers except that you know it is much better for them and the environment. I just wished we would have switched before for Thomas..."
~Eva, Sparta, WI, mama to Thomas and baby on the way!
